Episode 2 "Fullness in God/Monster in the Back"
Today on The Expressive Upper Brow, I talk about my day.... once again. I'm going to India! I'm getting hwk done...well almost. And an psa on dehydration. Join me on this less than exciting escutcheon of the normal lives. (=
First day of Lord's Table, I'm seeking to be set free from my bad food habits. This episode is not only about that but about my day as well. God is teaching me that I need to set aside my pride. Everything happens because of God not by my own strength. I'm who I am because of God and everything that I 'win' is for the glory of God, he made it happen not me. Not to mention that worshiping food is a sin! it's worshiping another idol.
I did Yoga and what happend then is the same thing that's happening with my food. People were just sitting there, not even realizing what they were doing but completely giving in to it. It's the same with eating. I may disguise it with hunger but really I'm just worshiping food. I'm eating because It tastes good or I'm bored, or even habitually like eating food when you're in front of a screen. It's wrong! "Put the stone down!" stop idolizing inanimate objects and start focusing on God. Now I can realize when food becomes an idol and not nutrition.

Christian Dating
I was reading Lauren's blog and it most respects I agree with everything she said. I believe that sex is for marriage and not only that but everything else that goes along with a personal relationship. I've had a horrible experience with opening my heart up to people and having them take a bite out if it. I had a boyfriend who promised things I knew he would never keep and it hurt me that he would even consider making those promises. In the end even though I knew he would break the promise, it still hurt when he left because he said he wouldn't. Not to mention kissing him left me with more emotional garbage than I could handle. I mean kissing is great and I've had a discussion with a good friend of mine about kissing before marriage. At the time I was in agreement with her, that we should be able to kiss guys before marriage but reading Lauren's blog opened my eyes to all the thoughts that now pollute my mind. Now that I've experienced all that lust and longing I can't get it out of my head. every time I'm alone or lonely I think of what it feels like and I go into a world I would never have been able to go into if it wasn't for that experience. I feel guilty every time that it happens and I feel even lonelier knowing I don't have it anymore. Now I know I shouldn't have shared that much with him and he was especially not the guy for me. The only thing I don't agree with is spiritually. yes personally we should guard our hearts but I know that God doesn't disapprove of spiritually sharing with each other. Why would he have invented the church? He wants us to disciple and keep each other accountable. I don't think the glory of the Lord and his word should be hidden from one another. Such majesty and love should be shared to everyone. Boys to boys to girls to girls.

My sister blog to "Adventures of a Sell out"
I've just read my friend Lauren's blog "Adventures of a Sellout", And I quite agree. I've been in a terrible spot with Christ. Basically ignoring his warnings and telling myself what I'm doing is not as bad at what others are doing, or at least I'm not doing it in public. But even if you don't do or say those things in public, you are still saying and doing those things. your friends and family are not the jury for your eternal fate, God is and he see's and knows everything of your heart and mind. What Lauren said about not worring to much about your life is what I strive to do but I've been distracted lately with life ironically enough. God is all I really need and I know because I've been in a place where all I had was him and it didn't have to do with not having anything else. It happens only for a few seconds and once you realize you have it, it's gone. That feeling of total joy and hapiness that God is who he is and everything that that includes. I wish that feeling could last me a life time. Its a singing, smiling, jumping around in wieghtless atmosphere kind of feeling. It's God carrying you to places you didn't think you could get to on your own. I miss that feeling and I thought I could get it by getting a guy to take me those places instead. But it doesn't work like that. No one but God can take you there. I found a piece of scripture that put my "husband hunt" to rest. Luke 20: 27-36 It basically says that there is no marriage in Heaven and no marriage when we come to a new earth. So what would be the point of getting married at all? I told this to another friend of mine and she didn't quite agree and thought there were loop holes, saying "oh but I'll just go up to God and say hey but I really like this guy". Honestly in Heaven we are the Bride of God and I'm sure he wouldn't want our devotion and worship to be with another creation. God wants a real relationship with us, not someone to call upon during emergencies. He wants us to be happy with him, sad with him, confused with him, and inspired by him. So when you go out as God has planned you can express Gods will for everyone. To be happy and safe in him.
